Suggested Evidence of Compliance: Describe the process and provide examples of how the agency obtains and utilizes participant input. Participants shall have involvement in:
a. Recommending policy;
b. Planning activities;

Narrative:
PRC relies on input from residents and users which is evident through high participation numbers. It is essential that visitors and governing boards feel their recommendations on programming, facility upgrades and policies are heard throughout the process.
Participation involvement is described in the PRC Recreation Program Plan: Section 3 Program Development & Benefits. In addition, groups that assist with the improvement of program and services include the Westchester County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board (PRC Board) and various Friends Groups including the Friends of Lasdon Park and Arboretum (FLPA), and the Westchester Parks Foundation (WPF).
