6.1.6 – Cooperative Programming

Standard: The agency shall enter into cooperative agreements with public, commercial, and nonprofit entities to provide programming.

Suggested Evidence of Compliance: Provide current examples of cooperative programming with documentation, such as Memoranda of Understanding (MOU), Memoranda of Agreement (MOA), or partnership agreements.

Narrative:

PRC partners with public, commercial and nonprofit agencies to provide supplemental programming that is not normally available through local municipalities through agreements and sponsorships.

Some examples of cooperative programming include Westchester Magazine’s Burger & Beer Bash, North East Westchester Special Recreation, White Plains Hospital Screening Under the Stars, Bicycle Sundays sponsored by Con Edison and New York-Presbyterian, Cultural Heritage Celebrations, Flag Day Celebration sponsored by the Daughters of the Liberty’s Legacy, Miracle League of Westchester, and Sharc Creative and Robinson Summer Concert Series.
